59 Twin with 18's fitted. Ball joint front end with disk brake setup, just finished by Dean and the boys at Volkspower in Melbourne.

Is that the one that was at the jambouree earlier this year? it looks a little higher now. still looking sweet though

Yes it is. i gave it to Matt for the weekend as his beautiful 11 window was not finished. He drove it to Carribean gardens, I think thats where you mean. I am in Paris and have not seen it personally but i agree, it does look a little taller, not sure if the 18's change the height for starters, I may lower it more when I am home.

Yep, I was in that cruise and it is a nice unit. Sounds like you are doing it tough if you over there in Paris, but I suppose some one has to be there.

Last I heard he had a power punching 1500 in it. Still pushed it along but.

Thats correct, it still has its original engine in it. i drive it to Phillip island a fair bit and although I love having it down there, the drive is a bit of a pain. I am told that Dean at Volkspower may have put a rebuilt 1600 in it for me while I have been away so i hope that is the case. I have a few 356 motors one of which will eventually reside in the rear of this twin when it is restored.
