ACT Newbie....
Hi all,
Been lurking around here in "read only" mode for some time.
Don't own a Split, but have offered help to friends of ours, who have embarked on a resto of their split.
I know a couple of DSK'ers. I'm just a "T3 Tragic", with a pair of T3's.
So I'm gonna be bothering you good people for advice on this resto...

Just rode past your home (Our Capital) on the weekend going to the snowy ride. worst luck didn't get to do the ride as a friend on the way up the mountain from the VIC side had a date with a tree. Spent the day of the ride picking up a very smashed side car outfit from a gully and picking the victim up from a VIC hospital.
I know what I am doing - I Think ?

Nasty! That was NOT what the weekend was meant to be about.shark wrote:Just rode past your home (Our Capital) on the weekend going to the snowy ride. worst luck didn't get to do the ride as a friend on the way up the mountain from the VIC side had a date with a tree. I'm hoping as you were picking up the victim from hospital so soon, the injuries were not too severe!

Bike as it landed about 100ft lower than the road. Went between 2 full size trees and took sump/head out on tree on the way past. Lucky the rider was already smashing into small bushes & she only broke her wrist. 1 lucky woman the husband was on a solo bike behind her as saw the whole thing happen in front of him.
By the way welcome to the mad house dude
