This is the other 61 Ute I have, I got it from Jamie with my brother’s 65 Ute, it’s the one on top

I put it in the shed today and I might have a go at welding it up for the next week or so

Was it this green Wiz?
For what it’s worth this colour with a white roof would look killer.

Might leave the colour up to the next owner, I have too many projects and not enough time, I plan to weld all the parts that I have for it and put it up for sale, I need more money to finish the 15 window. Today I got most of the x-members and outriggers on and fixed the shift rod tube and got the heater tube in, then I test fitted the floor

Bit more done today, just cutting up patches and tacking or text screwing them on, decided to make it a double treasure chest door

Re: The other 61 Ute
The inside frame of the load bed will need a bunch of work done to it , I bent up some new inner panels for it so before I do that I had a go at test fitting it, now I was at bit stuck on how to get the length and height so I asked Cooper and he said just use a side gate, line up the swage with the door and square it up to the cabin, it’s like he has 30 years experience except he is only 25! Worked out great

Now I’m getting somewhere, starting to get the gaps right, got the tray at the right height now and worked out the length

Hey Rich, this way saves cutting out the rust. As I’m doing this today I was thinking how good would it be if I welded up a 59 seamed roof, seamed gate Dual Cab, I think I have finally talked my mate in Melbourne to sell me his 57 single cab cabin and I already have the back part of a dual cab, Cooper has a complete chassis, how hard could it be?
