Another big day yesterday.
I've been wanting to get new tyres on the Yoot for w while now, get it down and check it's stance. $$ have been a bit tight recently so have had to do things slowly or do other stuff that doesn't cost so much ! Anyway, saved my $ and managed to get some tyres yesterday.

The plan was to do some electrical stuff and tyres..so that's what we did.

I now have all lights working, all idiot lights on speedo, Semaphores working ( yet to suss out how to get it down to 6V from 12, will have to do a search on here ) wipers ( again still 6V, more searching to do ) Interior light and as someone in the past had ripped all the wires out from Semaphores we replaced everything ..almost a new loom all the way through.

The only downer was the speedo needle crumbling so I now need to find a new needle or can anyone recommend a business that overhauls speedo's ?

I really want to keep and restore if possible, it's stamped 5/55 so original to the Yoot I'm guessing.

Also found and old match box behind some panels and on the headlining some numbers and possibly a date ? I'll get shots of that later...it was very dark when I left the shed last night !

Anyway...we are down.

Hey DB, looking good, next time around you'll get a whole van. To voltage drop, go down to that electrical shop on Bulcock and buy 2 x 1 ohm resistors.
