I told my oldest son i would have it finished for his year 12 formal, and in the end i just made it in time.

Off to formal car duties, and the beach.

and just like that some 8 years in the making it was finished.

I love this bus, it really is a nice thing to do miles in, big motor (to apparently compensate for penis size), freeway flyer gearbox, red 9, good brakes, and yet clean and simple.

Fucking aweseome.

The last stroke was to get the R series number plate which it was last registered under (had the rego papers in the car when i bought it), and install that, have been using it quite frequently ever since.

Taking it to the snow this august and then on to Volksfest in Lake McQuarrie, so hope to see some of you there..

Hopefully you have enjoyed me sharing the journey and it inspires some to get on with it and get their buses on the road (no names)..

Cheers

Didn't realise it had such a big donk...

Should have chucked a hot lap around the streets of Edwardstown when it was lurking in the area a few months back 8)

I have always disliked the noise of the A1 exhaust, just too bloody loud but hard to want to change as it is a pretty good unit. Anyway after seeing the new muffler that Paul (Crasher) had recently installed before the trip to Valla he shared the supplier that sells a muffler with both inlet and outlet in the same end.
Ordered one up and fitted this week, still noisy but much better.
The 2332 is pretty well up on compression so that doesn't help, but this muffler gives a deeper throatier sounds and gets rid of the wraspy sound.
Pic off muffler spec which is available from Car Mods in Australia for anyone wanting to resolve the same issue.
