im a panelbeater from across the ditch, been into vw's in one way or another since i was about 2, and now i own a couple of the damn things.

i havent started work on the van yet, i wanna get the beetle finished first, so i can have an aircooled daily driver and then concentrate on doing the van properly. i'm planning on turning it into a 13 window deluxe, with a camper interior and possibly a paris beetles rollback ragtop...unless somebody can tell me where i can find a roof section with a complete sunroof......

heres some more pics, and no, i havent even cleaned it out since i got it home.

it needs the usual stuff, both doglegs, left sill in and out, cab floor, outriggers, the list goes on, and on, and on........

hello kiwiVWnutt i have done the same thing as you as i have a 59 splitty that i will get stuck into once my beetle is on the road(hopefully by the weekend).... anyway nice rides!
