just joined dsk
Gday all, just joined up thought I'd say hello. Got a 1959 double door panel which has been an unfinished project for a couple of decades. Usual rust, as they say, and some turkey had been at it with an angle grinder to add a few windows so a bit of a job ahead but otherwise all complete and with safaris and semaphores. I speak pretty good German having lived there for a while so happy to translate if anyone needs.

been too busy
sorry no progress, too busy at work and renovating the kitchen to be allowed outside. Anyway Canberra at this time of year is too bloody cold. The only thing I have done is to get its birth certificate from the VW museum, turns out it left the factory on 22 June 1959 and was exported to Rhodesia, not sure what happened to make it leave Africa and come to OZ. Anyone else got a bus from Africa?
cheers
Andrew
