Re: Ian’s Dual Cab
Love your work Ian. Despite it being the middle of winter you keep powering on with this project. 11 weeks to reVolks, are you going to be driving it there?

It’s a long way off from finishing, it will be put aside now, still need to buy a front and bulkhead and look for a bit of donor roof.
Single Cab Ute back from sandblaster next week so I am back on that

Re: Ian’s Dual Cab
Small deviation from what I have already done, ended up buying a 61 Panel Van for the lower panels , bulkhead and chassis
Panel Van has a lot of rust in the top part of it and the sides where the reinforcement beams are, but great chassis and floors
So I will be taking the cab and back off from the old chassis and putting it on the Panel Van chassis

Re: Ian’s Dual Cab
That bulkhead is awesome.
Are you going to be able to save the panels above the cab doors? They look solid too.

Re: Ian’s Dual Cab
Yeah bulkhead is why I got it, and it’s got a good passenger side B pillar and toolbox area
both pieces above the doors are rusty as, roof skin is ok but everything attached to it is rusty. Everything below the roof for about 50mm is trash, yet the floor structure is great , sides were rusty where the braces are, definitely too much work to fix it, but perfect base for the Dual Cab

Roof off to new owner, and the left over bit is off to the sandblaster
