OK, will post some more photos shortly.
I've started cutting and prepping for the new panels (Thanks Elton!)
I thought I would take some time out and order a Birth Certificate. It arrived the other day. I gave them both numbers, from the chassis number they gave me the info I had already received from another member. (You know who you are and thank you!)
However... Next to "Country of Destination" it shows Finland
WTF? Could it be that either VW got it wrong or was my CKD assigned to the wrong container for shipping??
I am yet to check through the codes already on the internet, but mine also states M004 and M455 cannot be identified.. If anyone can shed light on this that would be great.
As mentioned, I will be posting more progress photos this week. Unfortunately there isn't any major progress, but any is better than none, and Otto is in some good company at least

Otto's progress...
Otto is a LONG termer...
He has had various areas cut out ready for replacement panels, however wrong bits keep getting shipped
Since I had heaps of extra bits I have started on a couple of others that needed similar attention... I need to start posting some photos of the various projects in their various stages.
Otto won't be on the road anytime in the next year at least. He has severe rust in the cargo floor, b-pillar, doglegs and outrigger areas, so I am trying to make my way through sorting out the replacement panels which have not shipped yet...... I think I may just need to list the two items not yet supplied and the rest of the bits I need... Time is the big problem... He's under cover though, so that's one plus...
