Got any pics of what you have in mind....
Thanks Rhett, for a sensible response without all this talk about old ladies and whether they are weathered or easy with the sexual favours......

PS....
Dion... Is chasing rainbows gay...?
If so,I'll stop the chasing and just catch one and beat the shit out of it....That should teach that rainbow not to be so colourful and interesting.... :x

mmmm.Could be worth a look...would neeed to be a minimum of 1600 long and I would rip them down to 40-50 mm wide strips...I could collect from your work in (Mulgrave) or you're welcome to call in to my work in Knoxfield...

No luck with any weathered slats this weekend.......(Must get down to the bowls club soon... )

A bit more progress with the lid....

Built some stands to support the lid to allow the side gates to open...beginning to be the easier option due to the weight of the lid and not having any external lifting handles...

Many hours of work yet doesnt look much in the pics....Fortunately had the benefit of Bryan Davies creative influence today...

More grinding and welding this week ....
Valla fast approaching....

Cheers..

Will the lid be on some sort of gas struts and hinge system?
Who needs roof racks when you have a SC Ute!

Brewman....

No hinges or struts needed......
Just make a grunting sound as you grip the gutters and up it goes....
