Armando is currently overseas and has been busy lately with work so thought I'd do a quick pictorial update of where the bus is at. Lots of photos to follow....
When Ian's bus was up with us for his new engine....
Thanks to Geoff (koolkat here on dsk) for doing the transport from our workshop up to the sunny coast a while back for a show - anyone needing transportation should give him a buzz as he takes more care with people's cars than any other tow truck driver I've dealt with.

The light is finally at the end of the tunnel - the bus is back from the upholsterer after receiving many metres of leather and quite a few dollars.
We have intentionally kept the interior stitching and side panel designs very simple to keep everything clean and neat as per the rest of the bus. The trimmer just has the front seats and front door panels to finish off.
Armando intends to use the bus as often as possible and hence wanted the carpet functional and easy to keep clean (hence black)
The roof lining has turned out very nicely - obviously have to fit off the lights and subs in the back. The front roof sections will be left out until we know everything works the way it should!
As per all the speakers, the trim covers help to keep the appearance neat and tidy without seeing the ugly black speakers everywhere
Again the rear bed 'cushion' was kept very simple. There was a lot of leather that went into this bus
Front kick panel will look great once the speakers go in
After a bit of final work underneath (brakes etc), the bus is off to the engine builders so they can get the engine running.....then back to us for final paint detailing etc (on tinwear etc) and time to iron the bugs out.

Thanks for the pics Al....
Definitely can't be said that Australia is lagging behind the rest of the world in relation to the build quality and innovation of our cars ,with people like yourself producing such a refined result...
Awesome...
Getting close now to hearing a report on the Red9 front-end I hope..
